Expected price €49,99 EUR

Sourcing in progress. We are developing Sidr & Stone Sidr Honey and selecting suppliers who can meet our standards for quality, traceability and careful handling.

What is Sidr honey?

Sidr honey takes its name from the Sidr tree, whose flowers provide nectar for bees. The name is closely associated with Ziziphus spina-christi, a tree found across parts of Africa and Asia. You may also see Sidr honey described as lote tree honey or jujube honey. Common names can overlap, so a clear botanical source and documented origin matter when comparing jars.

For us, choosing honey begins with understanding where it comes from and how it reaches the jar. We are reviewing suppliers and their product information before confirming our selection. The final origin, handling details and flavour notes will be shared once they are verified.

Choosing Sidr honey with confidence

When comparing Sidr honey, look beyond the name on the label. Ask about the floral source, country of origin, supplier traceability and any testing that supports the seller’s claims. Terms such as raw, unpasteurised and organic describe particular handling methods or standards; they should be supported by information about the actual product.

We will publish the confirmed specifications for our Sidr Honey before it becomes available to order, including any sourcing or testing information that applies to the finished product.

Sidr honey questions

Is all Sidr honey Yemeni?

No. Sidr describes the floral source, while Yemeni Sidr honey also identifies a country of origin. The origin of our forthcoming honey is still being confirmed, so we are not describing it as Yemeni Sidr honey at this stage.

How does Sidr honey compare with Manuka honey?

They come from different floral sources. Sidr honey is associated with Sidr blossoms, while Manuka honey comes from mānuka nectar. MGO and UMF terminology is associated with Manuka honey and is not a Sidr honey grading system. Explore our forthcoming Manuka Honey or read our Sidr honey vs Manuka honey guide.

Will this be raw Sidr honey?

Processing and handling details are still under review. We will only use a raw or unpasteurised description if it is supported by the final supplier information.
